Bomb FighterZ

Hey all, today we want to publicly release a bomber man like game we have been working on. Here is a little overview about the project.

Features:

• Leveleditor
• Local multiplayer (Versus)

Leveleditor:

Create your own levels with our ingame level editor and play them either locally or online without the need to share anything. Just host a game and select your map and you are good to go. The current limitation for the map size is 30x30 but we might reduce it in the future, as the gameplay on the bigger maps does not feel quite right. (Feedback appreciated)

Localization:

Translate the game into different languages with our localization tool. Currently german and english are the defaults, but you can translate for any language you like and share it with others.

Ability System:

A rotating set of abilities that offer additional offensive or defensive value. Use them to trick your opponents or catch them offguard. To learn more about our current abilities, please head to the help section ingame. (Suggestions for new abilities welcome)

Multiplayer:

Bomb FighterZ is currently multiplayer (versus) only. Some other modes, for example single player, are currently not planned, but may be implemented later on.

Modes:

• Local (2-Players)
• Local LAN (up to 4-Players)
• Online (up to 4-Players)

Online multiplayer is sadly a little bit limited right now. You need one player as the host, that sets up port forwarding on his router and shares his external ip and set port with you. Otherwise you can use virtual private network services (like hamachi) to connect to the host, so that you do not need to port forward. For local LAN there is no need to do such things as port forwarding, just use the internal ip and you are good to go.

Controls:

Controls are currently keyboard only and you can rebind the keys in the settings as you would like. Controller support however is not added yet but planned.
